Post-Election Audits

The Berks County Office of Election Services will conduct the mandatory 2% audit for the 2024 General Primary on Wednesday, May 8.

The Berks County Office of Election Services will conduct the mandatory 2% audit of the votes cast during the 2024 General Primary on Wednesday, May 8.  The audit will begin at 9 a.m. on the second floor of the former SAM building at 19 N. 6th Street, in Reading.

Each political party represented on the ballot will be allowed up to three observers at a time. The observers may also participate in the audit of the ballots, if authorized by their party and confirmed with the Office of Election Services.  Individuals interested in observing the audit should contact the local committee for their political party for more information.

The County of Berks was not selected to participate in the statewide risk-limiting audit (RLA) of the 2024 General Primary.
